PHASE 1 (Contestant Registration)
Registration begins February 1, 2009 and ends March 31, 2009
Registration is limited, so going by the mailed in Postal Dates and
Received Dates by Host Clubs will determine contestant consideration.
Some contestants will be registered through MC Battles and sponsored promotions.
PHASE 2 (Club Competition)
16 Clubs will host the preliminary portion of the competition
64 Contestants will compete at each club over a 5 week period
16 Contestants will compete in week 1 to determine the week 1 Club Finalist
16 Contestants will compete in week 2 to determine the week 2 Club Finalist
16 Contestants will compete in week 3 to determine the week 3 Club Finalist
16 Contestants will compete in week 4 to determine the week 4 Club Finalist
The Club Championship will be held in the 5th week to determine The Club Champion
There will be 16 Club Champions one from each of the participating Clubs
Each Club Champion will receive:
1 Detroit Blaze 2009 Club Champion Windbreaker Jacket
1 Detroit Blaze 2009 Club Champion Trophy
1 Detroit Blaze 2009 Club Champion Finalist Certificate
and a One Thousand Dollar Cash Prize ($1,000.00)
(Club Champions Not Living In The Detroit Metropolitan Area Will Receive Round Trip Airfare)
(Luxury Hotel Accommodations, Transportation And All Meals Included For The Entire Weekend)
PHASE 3 The Main Event (The Detroit Blaze Battle 2009 Championship)
The tentative date is April 21, 2009 In The City Of Detroit
This will be a totally hype Hip Hop party, with guest DJ's, Hip Hop dancers, Live performances
by Nationally Known Artist, Showcase performances by the best Local Talent, Celebrity Host and
Celebrity Judges will set the tone for the 16 Club Champions to compete and determine who will
be The Detroit Blaze Battle 2009 Champion
The Detroit Blaze Battle Champion will receive:
1 Detroit Blaze Battle 2009 Champion Leather Bomber Jacket
1 Detroit Blaze Battle 2009 Champion Trophy
and a Twenty Five Thousand Dollar Cash Prize ($25,000.00)
